Currently in her last year studying Journalism at Columbia Colege Chicago, Emma McNamee hopes to continue writing and expanding her skills as a reporter. An aspiring investigative journalist, McNamee is passionate about social issues especially in the areas of discrimination, violence, and politics. 

Born and raised in Minnesota, her experience as a competitor and captain on her Speech and Debate team helped instill a love of research and language, as well as a sense of pride in her work. Well-versed in the areas of writing and editing, McNamee is currently available for freelance work.
